Gold for the SLV Lighting Group: EcoVadis rewards the lighting specialist’s consistent sustainability work

EcoVadis evaluates companies in terms of their impact on the environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The SLV Lighting Group’s sustainability activities were able to achieve a total of 67 out of 100 points and were therefore awarded the gold medal by EcoVadis. With this distinction, SLV is among the top two percent of companies evaluated by EcoVadis in the category of “Wholesale of other household goods”.

For the lighting specialist, the award is confirmation of the sustainability strategy pursued by the SLV Lighting Group, which has set itself the goal of anchoring a sustainable value chain in all business processes. The manufacturer strives to achieve responsible growth in the sense of the circular economy, which reconciles ecological, social, and economic concerns. This includes, among other things, the consistent implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR), the use of recycled secondary raw materials in production, sustainable packaging and logistics solutions, and the reduction of packaging waste and CO₂ emissions.
