SLV Lighting Group creates a new position for more diversity: Catherine Connolly is Head of Diversity

The lighting holding takes a holistic approach to diversity and inclusion among its employees. A new position has been created in the globally operating group of companies: Catherine Connolly will further promote the diversity of the workforce at the Lighting Group as Head of Diversity & Inclusion, with immediate effect.

Diverse, multi-faceted teams are the foundation of the company’s success and is the reason diversity and inclusion are firmly anchored in the corporate culture at SLV Lighting Group. In her new role as Head of Diversity & Inclusion, Catherine will be responsible for championing and promoting it at the group; “Diversity & Inclusion are fundamental to the successful functioning of an organization. By understanding and acknowledging the differences in our company, together we can help create an environment based on fairness, dignity, and respect. True to the motto: ‘A lot of different flowers make a bouquet,'”.

Catherine takes on the newly created position in addition to her role as CEO of ML Accessories/Knightsbridge and SLV Lighting UK.

Catherine brings extensive experience in management and people leadership: She studied economics and psychology at the University of Hertfordshire, worked in marketing at 3M and Textron, followed by marketing, sales, and general management roles at Honeywell. She served as general manager of Schneider Electric Residential Temperature Controls worldwide.
