The SLV Lighting Group GmbH appoints a new COO: Christian Bannert to focus on a sustainable supply chain and innovations
The SLV Lighting Group GmbH is in the middle of a transformation. The internationalisation, digitalisation and sustainable orientation of the entire value chain are being driven forward in great strides. The Executive Board is responsible for the company’s transformation and recently welcomed a new member: as the Chief Operations Officer (COO), Christian Bannert is now responsible for the entire operational business of the group. He strengthens the four-member team led by CEO Eric Lachambre.
With the new COO, the SLV Lighting Group GmbH has brought a highly qualified expert on board: Christian Bannert gained almost three decades of management and leadership experience at Carl Zeiss AG at various international locations and in a range of roles, including Vice President Operations, Member of the Management Board of the Consumer Products Business Group and Managing Director of Carl Zeiss Sports Optics GmbH.
With his move to the Lighting Group, the native of South Baden, Germany, intends to further expand the sustainability strategy in its supply chain: “As one of the leading international manufacturers of future-proof lighting solutions, we have a special responsibility. My enthusiasm for the products of the SLV Lighting Group GmbH is also supported by the corporate vision of climate neutrality that encompasses all areas.”
The brands Knightsbridge, Nordtronic, Novalux, UnexLED and SLV are managed as independent business units in the SLV Lighting Group GmbH, a growing group that currently contains 17 companies and subsidiaries. As part of the forward-looking and consistently sustainable structuring of the business group, one focus will be on the use of synergies. The group relies on a holistic sustainability strategy for all of its products and corporate processes. Reconciling economic, social and ecological goals is a major challenge consistently tackled by the SLV Lighting Group GmbH. The company is working flat out to transform the entire group into a fully digital lighting company.
